BergMix has five plants in KwaZulu Natal; strategically positioned to supply concrete to a large geographical area that stretches over 100km from each plant. These include: Estcourt, Greytown, Ladysmith, Mooi River and Wartburg, with our head office based in Nottingham Road.
Concrete is batched on demand and due to the relative proximity of our plants, we are able to dynamically assign delivery resources to each of our customers. Mobile plants are also available for more remote projects.
Our plants are fitted with electronic weigh batching systems and cutting edge software that allows us to control every detail of your order; ensuring first-rate, consistent product quality and optimal delivery scheduling.
Products
Our products are designed by a specialist concrete technologist and all designs are in accordance with the relevant SABS specifications. In addition to our standard mixes, BergMix is able to produce a wide range of specialist products such as Fibre Concretes, Grouts, Mortar Mix, Soilcretes, Self Compacting Concretes and more - each formulated to your specific needs.

Quality
All BergMix testing and quality control is handled by a leading independent concrete laboratory which operates a commercial laboratory in Estcourt who are supported by off-site independent monitoring and analysis.

Our Equipment
Each of our 26 concrete mixer trucks are fitted with a computerised tracking system and two-way radios allowing us to provide accurate delivery times. Our Putzmeister boom pump handles all of our pumping requirements and enables increased efficiency, productivity and quality of the finished product on larger pours.

Technical Quality
All aggregate raw materials used within our product range are sourced from legal mining operations and are sampled and tested in line with SABS specifications. All concrete is weigh batched and backed by comprehensive, technologically advanced process controls. Test cubes are made, stored and tested in accordance with the SANS 5861-3:2006 requirement.
